Obituary
Connie Bentz, age 64, of Portland passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, in Albany Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Portland on June 1, 1956, the daughter of Richard and Evelyn (Bost) Bentz. Connie was a 1974 graduate of Portland High School and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She also helped with the Jay County Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving are a sister, Sharon Cavanaugh (husband: Larry) of Portland; nieces and nephews Theresa Cavanaugh, Andria Milthaler, Diana Parsons, Susan Funk, Mark Funk and Tiffany Botkin; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Funk.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Randy Smith presiding. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
Memorials can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
