Allen Reitz, 75, a resident of Portland, passed away Nov. 13, 2020, at his home.
Allen was born on March 2, 1945, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Paul and Mildred (King) Reitz. He graduated from Portland High School in 1963. Allen married Nancy Lee (Pyle) on June 26, 1965.
Allen worked for Indiana Gas and Vectren Energy as a project engineer. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Three sons — Lee Reitz (wife: Sylvia), Euless, Texas, Andrew Reitz (wife: Jennifer), Columbus, Ohio, and Joseph Reitz (wife: Josie), Greenfield
Three sisters — Evelyn Zearbaugh (husband: Jerry), Portland, Rose Marie Scheumann (husband: Dennis), New Haven, and Diane Villhard (husband: Victor), Colorado Springs, Colorado
One brother — Mark Reitz (wife: Brenda), Greenville, Ohio
Two grandchildren — Ethan Reitz and Caroline Reitz
One step-grandchild — Katherine Galvan
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mildred Reitz; and two brothers, John and Harold Reitz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held Tuesday before the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portland. Burial will follow at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Scholarship Fund.
