Greg Oxley, age 47, of rural Portland passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at IU Health Jay from complications from diabetes.
He was born in Bluffton on Oct. 4, 1972, the son of Tony and Lois (Schoenling) Oxley. He had worked for Red Gold for over 20 years.
Greg was a member of Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association and was a John Deere and vintage car collector. He was a 1991 Jay County High School graduate and was baptized in the Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Surviving are his parents Tony and Lois Oxley of Portland. He was preceded in death by his brother David Oxley in February 2017.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at 3 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Doll presiding. Burial will follow in the Claycomb Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.
Memorials can be made to Vietnam War Memorial or Diabetes Foundation.
