Norman Ward, 73, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, with his family at his side.
First and foremost, Norm was a child of God and a faithful member of Villa Baptist Church, Indianapolis. The son of Fletcher Rexford Ward and Edith Morris Ward, he was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Jamestown, New York, and was reared in Bemus Point, New York, across the street from his beloved Lake Chautauqua.
He met his wife Nan while in Bloomington, and they were married on July 20, 1967.
Norm leaves behind his wife, Nan Miller Ward; three sons, Eric Brinkerhoff (Indianapolis), Jordan Ward (Leslie) (Westfield) and Christopher Ward (Julie) (Indianapolis); three grandsons, Evan Ward (Crystal), Nathan Ward and Stephen Brinkerhoff. He also leaves his sister Nancy Becker (Bruce), Wayzata, Minnesota; and brother Fletcher Ward (Rosalie), Bemus Point, New York.
