Obituary
Phyllis Jean Diller, 93 of Findlay, Ohio, passed away at 8:39 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.
Jean was born on May 1, 1927, in Hancock County, Ohio to the late Merritt and Agnes (Archer) Fry.
She married Winford "Windy" Diller on May 1, 1948, and he preceded her in death.
She attended Liberty Township School in Hancock County and graduated from Toledo Waite High School.
Jean was a homemaker and was formerly employed as an appraiser for United Appraisal.
Jean is survived by two sons, Judge Tom (Linda) Diller of Portland, Indiana, and Jim (Robin) Diller of Westerville, Ohio; three daughters, Peggy (Nick) Moore of Findlay, Amy (Mike) Arabucki of Findlay and Vicki Walter of Findlay; grandchildren John Diller (deceased), James Diller, David Diller, Shayne Platt, Machelle Ellsworth, Jeremy Walter, A.J. Walter, Michael Walter, Christopher Moore, Jessica Thibodeau, Bobby Diller and Michael Arabucki; and there are also 11 great-grandchildren and one deceased great-grandchild.
Jean was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Fry, Jerry Fry and Bill Fry; and survived by a sister-in-law, Sara Fry.
Jean attended the Findlay First Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Mike McClurg officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
