Last week vs. Marion Local: Fort Recovery gave up 16 points in the fourth quarter in suffering a 23-14 loss to the defending Division VII?state champions. Derek Jutte had 38 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, and Clay Schmitz was 16-of-22 through the air for 167 yards, including a 20-yard TD to Cale Rammel.
Season leaders: Passing — Clay Schmitz – 16-of-22 for 167 yards and a touchdown. Rushing — Derek Jutte – 10 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown. Receiving — Regan Martin – four catches for 68 yards. Defense — Gavin Thobe – 13 tackles, forced fumble.

Last week at Delphos St. John’s: Parkway fell behind 7-0 in the first quarter and trailed the rest of the way in a 29-20 loss to the St. John’s Blue Jays. Sophomore Eddie Nichols had 104 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, while Brendon Etzcorn and Liam Ferroggiaro both had rushing TDs as well.
Season leaders: Passing — Elijah Rich – 11-of-23 for 126 yards. Rushing — Eddie Nichols – 10 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown. Receiving — Justan Felver – four catches for 33 yards. Defense — Graham Farmer – 10 tackles.
Last season: Fort Recovery weathered a fourth-quarter flurry to hold off Parkway, 27-26. The Panthers scored 26 points in the final 12 minutes and went for the potential game-winning 2-point conversion but the FRHS defense preserved the win.?Clay Schmitz threw for a career high 345 yards with three touchdowns and added a rushing TD. Derek Jutte added 88 rushing yards.
