A program for nature lovers is scheduled at Ouabache State Park.
The state park on the east side of Bluffton will host its Nature Loves Picnic in the Park Program at noon Thursday.
Attendees are invted to bring a picnic lunch to the program — “Civilian Conservation Corp Park History,” presented by Friends of the Ouabache committee members Shelly Reed and Alan Daugherty.
The park is located at 4930 E. Indiana 201, Bluffton.

The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana is offering educational programs and caregiver support groups online and by phone.
Programs this month include help with understanding and dealing with dementia on Sept. 29, best practices for maintaining a healthy brain Sept. 17 and effective communication and warning signs of Alzheimer’s Disease Sept. 22. All programs are free.

LifeStream has launched its Friendly Caller Program for older adults who are experiencing loneliness and isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.
Volunteers are matched with older adults to provide conversation. Those interested in volunteering can visit lifestreaminc.org/support/volunteer.
Older adults who are interested in receiving calls can sign up by calling (800) 589-1121.
