Judy Newlin

Judy J. Newlin, age 71, of Portland passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2020, in Miller’s Merry Manor in Hartford City.

She was born in Portland on May 22, 1949, the daughter of Bernard and Iva Lou (Ludy) Parks. She was married to Richard Newlin and he preceded her in death.

Judy had worked at Community Care Center West, Lo-Bill Grocery and Walmart. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a 1967 Madison High School graduate.

Surviving are two sons, Scot Newlin (wife: Kathy) of Pennville and Richard Newlin (wife: Marcia) of East Liverpool, Ohio; one daughter, Kimberly Piercy of Portland; one brother, William Parks of Greenville, Ohio; and two sisters, Deborah Coleman (husband: Joe) of Pennville and Brenda Glatti (husband: Ed) of Pennville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.
