Naomi Taylor

Naomi Taylor, age 86, a resident of Pennville, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Upland, Indiana.

Naomi was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Farrville, Indiana, the daughter of Noel and Beatrice (Needler) Bennett. She retired in 1995 from Ball Glass Factory in Dunkirk, Indiana, after 40 years of service.

Naomi married Claude Taylor on May 4, 1953, he passed away on Oct. 26, 2008.

Survivors include:

One daughter — Gloria Daugherty (husband: Robert), Upland, Indiana

Seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Andrews; and a brother, Hugh Bennett.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the chapel in Pennville. Pastor Evan Guse will officiate the services and burial will follow in the I.O.O.F Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.

The family requests memorials be directed to Heart to Heart Hospice.
