Series returns to John Jay Thursday

John Jay Center for Learning is ready to host seniors again.
This month’s senior lunch and learn series event, the first that will be at John Jay since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Curt Burnette, the naturalist at Limberlost State Historic Site, will present “What Animal Habitat will be Present in the Fall at the Loblolly?” Lunch is $3.

Fort Recovery State Museum will host author Frank Kuron at 3 p.m. Aug. 29 for the presentation “Clash of Cultures! Discover the Relationships of Tecumseh; the Prophet; and the Future President, William Henry Harrison.”
