Jacqueline Mae (Harter) Morrical, 93, of Syracuse, Indiana, formerly of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, peacefully, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Warsaw, Indiana.
Jacqueline was born in Gas City, Indiana, on May 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Raines) Harter. She moved to her beloved Lake Wawasee home 35 years ago.
She was a 1946 graduate of Dunkirk High School, followed by Indiana Business College in 1948.
Jackie was the widow of Charles Morrical and was employed by Delco Battery in Muncie, Indiana, until her retirement in 1987.
She was a member of the Gamma Nu Sorority, Dunkirk Bowling League, Dunkirk Elks Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary Post 227.
Jackie is survived by one son, Dennis A. Morrical; two sisters, Linda Marcantonio (husband: Robert) and Sally Longerbone; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; one brother, Charles Harter Jr.; and one sister, Carole Hammond; one daughter-in-law, Amy Morrical; and one grandson, Amos Charles Morrical.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from noon to 2 p.m. at MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chris Nelson officiating. Burial will be held in Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers, or The Make a Wish Foundation.
