Wanda Louck
Feb. 10, 1938-July 13, 2021
Wanda F. Louck, 83, of Redkey, Indiana, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 13, 2021, while in the company of family members at Miller's Merry Manor in Dunkirk, Indiana.
Wanda was born in Jay County on Feb. 10, 1938, a daughter of the late M. Louise and Kenneth Lemaster. She was a 1956 graduate of Ridgeville High School and formerly employed by the food service department at Jay School Corporation until her retirement in 2000.
Wanda was the loving wife of Joe Louck, who she happily married on April 15, 1961. She was a member of the Redkey Home Economics Club and TOPS, and enjoyed quilting, reading, crafts, computer games, listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash music, and collecting tea pots and snow babies.
When asked about special memories with Wanda in their younger days, Joe reflected on simpler times with a smile, when he would take his bride to the hot dog stand for dinner before going to the show.
Wanda is survived by her husband Joe; son Richard Louck (wife: Bobbi); daughter Karen Louck; brother Francis (Bud) Lemaster; two sisters, Janet Lautzenheiser and Nancy Elliott; grandchildren Zach Louck, Shelbi Louck, Alli Muhlenkamp and Maddi Louck; one great-grandson, Lincoln Muhlenkamp; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Friday, July 16, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 17, 202,1 from 10 to 11 a.m. at MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel. Funeral services will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rob Farris officiating. Burial will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Redkey Church of the Nazarene.
