Bulldogs to play in FR on Sunday

The ’dogs will be out Sunday night.
Fort Recovery Friends of the Arts’ summer concert series continues at 7 p.m. Sunday with a performance by The Bulldogs at Van Trees Park’s Hein Amphitheater.
The band, which is based in Fort Wayne, plays music from the “juke box era,” including Buddy Holly, The Beach Boys and The Righteous Brothers. It features Wayne Neukom on bass guitar and lead vocals, Bernie Stone on drums, Bob Kmyslony on the keyboard, Kenny Taylor on guitar and lead vocals and Maggie Hawkins on saxophone, flute, clarinet and lead vocals.
The concert series runs through the second weekend of August with performances at 7 p.m. each Sunday. The upcoming schedule features:
July 25 — Smokin’ Ham Band
Aug. 1 — Infinity and Beyond
Aug. 8 — Mike Sugg and The American Ride
Swim for a quarter
Dunkirk City Pool is now open, and Dunkirk Police Department is sponsoring swimming for a quarter.
Dunkirk Community Pool Quarter Night will feature admission for 25 cents from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
The pool is regularly open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call the pool at (765) 768-7632 or Dunkirk City Building at (765) 768-6565.
Applications open
LifeStream Services is accepting applications for its Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program Vouchers.
The vouchers can be used to purchase items such as beans, peppers, tomatoes, apples and other fruits and vegetables from qualifying locations. They are worth $20 and are provided by the state on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To be eligible, applicants must be 60 or older and meet income guidelines.
