To the editor:
Recently, the Jay County High School baseball program collaborated with many individuals in our community to host a Strike out Cancer game to benefit a local young man currently battling cancer.
We would like to thank the following people who helped to make this possible: Abby Whetzel, Amber Miller, Josh Monroe, Marc and Tammy Bogenschutz, Jayne Pearson, Chris and Kathy James, Youthful Smiles Children & Family Dentistry and Trinity United Methodist Church ladies group.
A special thank you to Kathy James and Beth Nichols for organizing this event.
It is because of this event and events like this that makes me proud to be part of the Jay County community.
Lea Selvey and the Jay County High School baseball staff and team members
