Intersection collision

A Farmland man driving through the intersection of county road 200 West and Indiana 67 did not see an oncoming Portland man’s vehicle, resulting in a collision about 7:55 a.m. Friday.

Justin L. House, 25, Farmland, stopped a 2014 Ford F250 on county road 200 West at the intersection with the highway. He told Jay County Sheriff’s Office he didn’t see Larry M. Nuckols, 49, Portland, driving his 1999 Chevrolet Small Convention southwest on the highway, so he proceeded into the intersection.

Nuckols’ Chevrolet collided with the passenger side of the Ford, which rolled over and came to a rest on its top.

The Ford is registered to Ohio Valley Gas Corporation of Portland.

Damage is estimated between $10,000 and $25,000.
