Marie Robbins
Feb. 13, 1933-Oct. 31, 2021
Marie Jane Robbins of Portland passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at the age of 88.
She was born in Monroe, Michigan, on Feb. 13, 1933, to the late Nicklaus and Mary Youanovich.
Marie was a member of Winchester Phi Delta Kappa, the Moose Lodge and Immaculate Conception Church of Portland for many years until her health failed. She loved playing bingo, sewing and reading. This woman read every newspaper she got her hands on. She watched the news daily to keep abreast of all things happening. Marie was very independent and took care of herself; she even still drove her own vehicle on errands. She was a tough lady.
Preceding her in death were both husbands, Frank Ingram Jr., and Eldon Robbins; one daughter, Edwarda C. Hicks; and all of her 11 siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Frank (Patricia) Ingram II; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Cremation will take place and no services will be held.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, will handle the arrangements.
