Obituary
Wilson Keys, 94, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Swiss Village in Berne, Indiana.
He was born on April 21, 1927, to Raymond and Mabel Keys.
Wilson and his wife Ramona owned Keys Insurance Agency in Winchester, serving many families in Randolph County and surrounding counties for several years.
Wilson’s passions were his faith and family. He was an active Gideon member. He made many mission trips to Chile and Central America to help build chapels. He loved fishing and nature. He was a wonderful story teller.
Wilson is survived by son Jerry; daughter Karen Hoose (Wolfgang); grandchildren Leesa Whetzel (Jerry), Erika Davis (Mike) and Sonya Stephen (Chris); seven great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona E. (Scherb) Keys; his parents; brothers Frank Keys, Marvin Keys and Earl Keys; and a sister, Mary Alice Frame.
A service to celebrate Wilson’s life will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at Randolph Friends Church with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call an hour before services on Sunday at the church.
