Free flu shots will be available this week.
Meridian Health Services is hosting “Flu-Lapalooza” from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at most of its locations in Indiana.
“Flu-Lapalooza” will offer free flu shots to anyone 6 months or older. Participants will also be entered to win a $50 grocery gift card.
Locations that will offer shots include:
MerdianMD – Convenience Care — Inside IU Health Jay, 500 W. Votaw St., Portland
MeridianMD — 1150 S. Main St., Dunkirk
MeridianMD – Internal Medicine and Meridian Health Pediatrics — 303 S. Main St., Bluffton
Symphony set
Muncie Symphony Orchestra will perform a live accompaniment to “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horrors” at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 as part of Cornerstone Center for the Arts’ “Historically Haunted October Series.”
The show is recommended for those 13 and older.
Tickets are available at munciesymphony.org.
CFS sponsoring
Community & Family Services Head Start this week announced sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the policy for meals for enrolled children.
Meals are available for children who qualify based on household income levels.
Eligibility guidelines are in effect through June 30.
