Sharon Lee McClain, age 79, of Pennville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, in Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Markle, Indiana. She was married to John McClain Jr. and he preceded her in death.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1942, in Portland, the daughter of Ivan and Fern (Bash) Frogge. Sharon was a truck driver and owner of the Pennville Restaurant. She was a 1960 Pennville High School graduate and member of the American Legion Auxiliary, 8/40, Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Charles McClain of Bryant; Teresa Squier of Pennville and Zona Shoopman of Parker City; one brother, Larry Frogge of White House, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with burial in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials can be made to the Hospice of the donor's choice.
