Obituary
Judy Kay Supinger, age 67, a resident of Muncie, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was a former resident of Portland.
Judy was born Aug. 13, 1954, in Hartford City, the daughter of Joseph Wayne Beatrice Sr. and Di Ann (Krebs) Beatrice. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in Portland and Winchester for over 23 years.
Judy enjoyed volunteering for the Republican Party of Delaware County for several years. She married the Rev. Larry Supinger on May 29, 1982, and he passed away on April 5, 2010.
Survivors include:
One daughter — Jeni Lynn Hummel (husband: Gene), Portland, Indiana
Two sons — James Paul Stephenson Jr., Redkey, Indiana, and Joshua Lee Stephenson (wife: Jennifer), Albany, Indiana
Grandchildren — Caleb Hummel, Violet Hummel, Macy Stephenson, Noah Hummel, Logan Stephenson and Leah Hummel
Great-grandson — Harrison Mikel Kissick
Siblings — Michael Beatrice (Andrea), Yorktown, Indiana, Joseph Beatrice Jr. (wife: Lisa), Parker City, Indiana, and Ami Fletcher (husband: Steve) Greenwood, Indiana
Her special dog — Poppy
Her sister Susan Parsons passed away shortly after Judy on Oct. 6, 2021.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
Services to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards Alzheimer’s Association, Lung Cancer Association of America or National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
