Obituary
Lisa A. Rines, age 57, of Portland passed away Friday morning, Oct. 8, 2021, at IU Health Jay.
Lisa was born in Greenville, Ohio, on Feb. 22, 1964, the daughter of Bill and Nedra (Stelle) Richardson. Lisa worked as a medical assistant for IU Health Jay Family Medicine. She was a 1982 Tri-Village High School graduate and a Harrison College graduate.
Lisa enjoyed bowling, music and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Brandon Richardson of Portland and Ryan McCollum (fiance: Taylor) of Muncie; two brothers, Jon Richardson of Lynn and Ted Richardson (wife: Debbie) of Allen, Texas; one sister, Kathy Swabb (husband: Eric) of Ansonia, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Rylee Jordan and Grayson McCollum.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lynette Pegg.
Celebration of life services will be Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the John Jay Center, 101 S. Meridian St., Portland, Indiana.
Memorials can be made to Everheart Hospice.
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland, Indiana, is in charge of arrangements.
