Obituary
Norma Gene Robbins, 73, of Redkey, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, peacefully at Bethel Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center in Muncie, Indiana.
Norma was born in Tennessee on May 22, 1948, a daughter of the late Capitola (Wilson) and Carl Edward Herman. She was a 1966 graduate of Redkey High School, went on to continue her education at Amber's Beauty College, and was formerly employed by Ball Glass Factory in Dunkirk, Indiana.
Norma was a member of Kingsley Full Gospel Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, going to church, reading the bible, singing, sharing the Lord with others, helping with bible school at church, and went to the church women's retreat every year in Tennessee for 20 years straight.
She is survived by one son, Shane D. Robbins (Trisha Hale); one daughter, Bridget A. Robbins; two brothers, Thomas E. Herman (Connie) and Alan L. Herman (Pam); one sister, Donna L. Watson (Bill); six grandchildren, Sadie Robbins (Nate Andrews), Jordan Robbins, Jade Cox (Matthew), Elsria Goodman, Ethan Robbins and Ayden Robbins; and one great-grandson due in January.
Friends are invited to call Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Kingsley Full Gospel Church in Dunkirk, Indiana, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Clarence Baker officiating. Burial will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingsley Full Gospel Church, 4030 S. 700 East, Dunkirk, IN, 47336.
