A Public Square Rosary Crusade for Conversion of America is slated for noon today at Haynes Park in Portland.
Those of all faiths are invited to attend. It is suggested that participants bring their own lawn chairs to the event.

Book sale set
Fort Recovery Public Library will host its used book sale beginning Monday.
Patrons are invited to shop for books, audio books and movies. Free-will donations will be accepted.
The sale, which runs through Oct. 23, will be open during regular library hours — 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.?Saturday.
Funding available
Grant funding is available for local agriculture supporters.
The Portland Foundation is now accepting applications for its Friends of Jay County Agriculture 2021 grant cycle.
Grants are available to tax-exempt organizations operating or proposing to operate programs for the benefit of agriculture in Jay County.
Applications are available at portlandfoundation.org. The deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 12.

Community & Family Services Head Start this week announced sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the policy for meals for enrolled children.
Meals are available for children who qualify based on household income levels.
Eligibility guidelines are in effect through June 30.
