A world-touring guitarist is coming to Jay County.
Luca Stricagnoli will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Hall-Moser Theatre at the Performing Arts Center on the Jay County Campus of Arts Place, 131 E. Walnut St., Portland.
Stricagnoli, a native of Italy, is an acoustic guitarist who is known for his innovative playing techniques. He recently released his new album “What if?,” which includes him playing a new guitar he invented.
Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students. They are available at artsland.org at Arts Place or by calling (260) 726-4809.
Funding available
Grant funding is available for local agriculture supporters.
The Portland Foundation is now accepting applications for its Friends of Jay County Agriculture 2021 grant cycle.
Grants are available to tax-exempt organizations operating or proposing to operate programs for the benefit of agriculture in Jay County.
Applications are available at portlandfoundation.org. The deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 12.

Symphony scheduled
Muncie Symphony Orchestra will perform a live accompaniment to “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horrors” at 7 p.m. Thursday as part of Cornerstone Center for the Arts’ “Historically Haunted October Series.”
“Nosferatu” is a 1922 silent film that closely mirrors Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.” The show is recommended for those 13 and older.
