Marc W. Bailey, 45, of rural Geneva, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1975, in Decatur, Indiana. He married Christina Marie (Bradley) Bailey on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, in Decatur, Indiana. Marc lived most of his life in the Portland and Geneva area.
In his youth, Marc attended the Bryant Wesleyan Church in Bryant. In 1993, he graduated from Jay County High School in Portland. He was a member of the American Monster Truck Association (AMTA), where he was a show manager. Being a member of the AMTA, he traveled to Ecuador, Mexico and Japan to set up for the shows. He built trucks for the WWE Smackdown events. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, ATV riding and motorcycle riding, and he was also a demolition derby driver and a stunt driver.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Christina Marie (Bradley) Bailey, Geneva, Indiana; mother Vicki M. (Darby) Wickelman, Portland, Indiana, stepfather Howard Wickelman, Portland, Indiana; stepmother Lois (Steven) Bailey, Berne, Indiana; sons Preston Twigg, Portland, Indiana, Silas Bradley, Geneva, Indiana, Bruce Bailey, Geneva, Indiana, and Enoch Bailey, Geneva, Indiana; father- and mother-in-law Mike and Joyce Bradley, Berne, Indiana; sister MaShell (Tom) R. Godfrey, Montpelier, Indiana; brother Steven Robert (Ron) Bailey, Stow, Ohio; sister Janell Turner, St. Mary's, Ohio; sister Rebecca Bailey, Berne, Indiana; sister Elizabeth Bailey, Mishawaka, Indiana; eight nieces; six nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Steven Wayne Bailey.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia.
