Robinette, Zimmerman wed July 17
Phoebe D. Robinette and Joshua J.?Zimmerman were wed July 17 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland. Pastor Wayne War performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Charlie and Margaret Dick. The groom is the son of Jeff and Annie Wines of Pennville.
The bride wore a champagne color, eyelash lace wedding gown, featuring a front deep v-neck with scalloped appliques. The sheer back featured a centered satin button line that fell into a plunging trumpet fit waist line accenting a chapel length train complementing the waist-length eyelash lace veil. Her rose gold tiara completed the ensemble with matching rose gold teardrop earring and necklace. She carried a bouquet of cascade of silk, blush, dahlia, lavender, jasmine and garden roses displayed in an array of ivory lilies and green ivy.
Serving as maid of honor was friend of the bride Kristy Rigney of Portland. She wore a blush, off-the-shoulder, floor-length evening gown of polyester and cotton. Bridesmaids were daughter of the bride Tiffany Brinkerhoff of Portland and friend of the couple Cassy Marcum of Montpelier. Each dress in the bridal party was unique in design, fitting the personality of the bridesmaid.
Daniel Zimmerman, Pennville, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsman was son of the groom Logan Zimmerman of Portland and groomsmame was friend of the groom Andrea Esparza of Pennville.
The bride was given away by her sons James and Cole Robinette. Kayla Marcum served as flower girl, and grandson of the bride Benson Robinette was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at All Seasons Banquet Hall in Albany. For their honeymoon, the couple traveled to Colorado and saw a variety of sites in the Rocky Mountains.
Robinette is a special education teacher for Jay School Corporation. Zimmerman is an ingredients handler for Red Gold.
