Glen L. Haines, age 80, of Pennville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in Bluffton Regional Hospital in Bluffton, Indiana.
Born in Decatur, Indiana, on Dec. 30, 1940, he was the son of Lewis and Opal (Reynolds) Haines. He was married in 1988 to Jone (Joni) Elaine Geesaman who survives. Glen was retired as a tool and die maker for Simons Manufacturing in Berne.
Glen was a 1959 Geneva High School graduate, served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965, was a member of American Legion in Berne and attended Union Chapel Church.
Surviving are his wife Jone; one son, Craig Haines (wife: Darla) of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Stephanie Odom (husband: Jerry) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister Faye Woodward (husband: Oren) of Berne; four stepsons, Nick Ray (wife: Darlene) of Pennville, Rob Ray (wife: Robbie) of Pennville, Christopher Ray (wife: Kathy) of Bryant and Jeffery Ray (wife: Nichole) of Portland; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 4 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Morgan presiding. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Union Chapel Church or Gideons.
