Nominate veterans for Hall of Fame
Taking Note
Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame is calling for nominations for the 2023 class of veteran honorees.
The nonprofit celebrating its 10th anniversary honors Hoosier veterans for service during and after active duty. The group has added a new classification for induction for community support, which recognizes veterans who have contributed exceptionally to their community, state or nation.
Nominees must have been born in Indiana, entered into the military service in Indiana and lived in Indiana for at least five years. They must also have been honorably discharged and free of felony convictions.
Nomination criteria can be found at imvhof.com/nominate. Nominations will be accepted through end of day August 1. Folks nominated will be honored at a ceremony Nov. 10 at the garrison on Old Fort Harrison, 6002 North Post Road, Lawrence.
