Mariah C. Ullom

Mariah C. Ullom, age 23, of Portland, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023, after a long battle of illness.

Mariah was a joy and her laughter would echo through a room. She was outgoing and didn’t know a stranger. She loved fishing and family.

Mariah, who attended Jay Schools, South Adams and The Crossing, was born on Nov. 6, 1999. She fought many battles but can now rest in peace.

Mariah’s parents — Karen Smith, Portland, and Lonnie Ullom, (wife: Jodie) - Decatur

Sisters — Hope Ullom, Portland, Tabitha Ullom, LaGrange, and Alisha Lavine (husband: Chad), Fort Wayne

Brother — Patrick Ullom, LaGrange

Step-sister — Brandi Weagant, Decatur

Step-brother — Seth Weagant (wife: Leann), Portland

Grandparents — Mary Ullom, Portland, Nyoka Smith, Portland, and Rodney Smith (wife: Sue), Portland

Great-grandparents — Marlene Smith, Portland, and Jenny Newton, Portland

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 211 E. Main St., Portland, Indiana, on April 24, 2023, at 4 p.m.
