Patricia Conwell
March 21, 1935-April 15, 2023
Patricia A. Conwell, 88, Albany, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Albany Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Muncie on March 21, 1935, the granddaughter of Roy and Norah Dolby and later graduated from Muncie Central High School.
Patricia dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, raising her children along with four foster children. She enjoyed puzzles and all of her cats and dogs. She also loved taking care of her plants.
Patricia was a member of Woman’s Life Insurance Society.
Survivors include her children, Connie L. Fribley (Fred) of Warsaw, Clinton D. Conwell (Sally) of Pennville, Clifton L. Conwell of Muncie, Carol D. Beachy (Norman) of Millersburg, Ohio, Carl D. Conwell of Indianapolis and Charles L. Conwell of Muncie; and her grandchildren, Robert J. Street, Karla R. Reier, Jessica and Shawn Beachy, Holly Greene, Richard L. Conwell, Rachel D. Conwell, Linda Conwell, Amanda Fernandez and Kevin Conwell; also surviving are eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard E. “Dick” Conwell in 2007; and two grandchildren, April and Thomas Conwell; along with her parents.
Services will be at noon on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will be held privately in Jones Cemetery, near Warren.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the mortuary.
