The Patriots have shown excellence on both sides of the floor already in this season.
Only allowing eight points between both the eighth and seventh grade teams just reinforces their dominance.
The Jay County Junior High School girls basketball teams gave up four points each in crushing wins over the Woodlan Warriors on Thursday.
The eighth graders beat Woodlan 39-4 while the seventh graders won 47-4.
Seventh grader Karsyn Schwieterman led all scorers with 17 points. The only other double-digit scorer for the Patriots (6-0) was Charlee Peters with 14. Other scorers included Avery Snow with eight, and Alivya Schwieterman and Claudia Dirksen both with four.
The eighth graders (5-1) once again had more balanced scoring. Kylie Shannon narrowly led the Patriots with seven points.
There were four Patriots who dropped six points, including Elizabeth Brunswick, Amelia Heath, Raylin Hummer and Gabi Petro. Amara Crawford and Natalie May both scored four.
