Jamie Kelsey, 31, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Feb. 6, 2023. She was born Jan. 28, 1992, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Kenneth Douglas Kelsey Jr. and Sylvia Dawn Miskinis Witt. She attended Jay County schools.
She enjoyed spending her leisure time going to antique stores with her aunt Georgina, rummage sales and the dollar stores. She most enjoyed her time with her children.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Kenneth (wife, Tandy), and Dawn; grandparents, Jim and Connie Miskinis, and Edith Sue Kelsey; children, Emma and Jameson Wilson; sisters, Chelsea Burress, Nikki Kelsey, Breanna Kelsey; a brother, Doug Kelsey; step siblings, Alexa Dolbee and Dawson Fields (wife, Miranda); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Douglas Kelsey and uncle, Edward Kelsey.
A memorial service to celebrate Jamie’s life will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Dunkirk Memorial Chapel of Dunkirk, Indiana. Family and friends may gather from 2 p.m. to service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
