Cindy Adair, age 62, of rural Pennville passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at her residence.
She was born in Portland on April 5, 1960, the daughter of Cloyce and Margaret Sue (Armstrong) Green. She was married on July 6, 1992, to Brian Adair who survives. Cindy was owner and operator of Adair Processing in Pennville with her husband Brian. She was a 1978 Jay County High School graduate, president of Pennville Fair Board, Board member of Pennville Community Center and Pennville Pumpkin Festival, and former officer of Jay County Chamber.
Cindy loved to go camping and working in her flower gardens.
Surviving is her husband Brian; two sons, Craig Imel (wife: Mindy) of Portland and Jamie Shaneyfelt (wife: Amy) of Portland; stepson Kent Wicker (wife: Amy) of Celina, Ohio; one daughter, Erin Bollenbacher of Berne; sister Kathy Neireiter (husband: Adam) of Churubusco, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, Trevor, Hunter and Carly Shaneyfelt, Colton and Riley Bollenbacher, Alyssa and Easton Imel and Gavin, Jaden and Cohen Wicker.
She was preceded in death by a brother Rick Green.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Pennville Pumpkin Festival.
