Turning crash
A Portland woman turned a vehicle into the side of a Portland man’s car in the Walmart parking lot about 4:19 p.m. Wednesday.
Rachelle Lemaster, 50, was driving a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix west on Votaw Street when she began to turn into the parking lot at 950 W. Votaw St. She drove into the driver’s side of a 2018 Kia Forte driven by 70-year-old Jack Freeman, causing his vehicle to spin.
Freeman sustained a chest injury, and Lemaster sustained an injury to her abdomen.
The Pontiac is registered to Michael Foreman of Portland. Both vehicles were towed, with damage estimated between $10,000 and $25,000.
