Fort Recovery High School awarded its seniors recently with scholarships.
Elizabeth Alig received the Bob Freemyer Alumni and Robert, Alice and Colleen Grube scholarships.
Wyatt Bihn got the Tri Star Skills Gap grant. Betsy Braun was awarded the Wright State University Green and Gold scholarship, Fort Recovery Ministerial Association scholarship and Fort Recovery High School Vocational grant. Danielle Brawn received the creative images merit scholarship.
Lydia Brunswick got the WSU Green and Gold, Rachel “Ruu” Brackman Memorial and
Walter and Kathleen Hemmelgarn scholarships.
Audra Bubp received the Bowling Green State University Merit and Terry Bidlack Memorial scholarships, and she was awarded the girls athletic key for athletic participation.
Megan Diller secured the Mercer County Track Spirit, Fort Recovery High School Spanish Club, Fort Recovery Alumni Association, V.H Cooper Farms, Howard Berry Memorial, OHIO excellence and Marvin Crosten scholarships.
Alixandra Englehardt received the VH Cooper Farms, Leitzell Family Foundation, Arnold and Eugina Beumer and Linus and Juletta Huelskamp scholarships.
Allysen Fullenkamp got the V.H. Cooper Farms, Wabash Mutual Telephone
Indiana Wesleyan University Women’s Volleyball scholarship, Indiana Wesleyan University Faculty scholarship and Indiana Wesleyan University grant.
Maddie Guggenbiller received the Defiance Pilgrim and Fort Recovery High School Vocational grant. Jacob Hartke got the WSU Green and Gold, John and Doris Cheeseman Endowed and Fort Recovery Banking Center/Park National Bank scholarships.
Jacob Heitkamp was awarded the Wright State University Green and Gold, Doctor James Vaughn Memorial and Bob Freemyer Mathematics scholarships. Paul Homan secured the Richard & Norvita Hildbold/Fort Recovery Alumni Association, Fort Recovery High School Scholastic Bowl and Fort Recovery Academic Booster Club scholarships.
Makensie Kaffenberger received the Wright State University Green and Gold, Dunbar Award and Fort Recovery Ministerial Association scholarships. Chase Kaiser got the Ohio State Provost, Ohio State University Mercer County Alumni, Fort Recovery Chamber of Commerce. Fort Recovery Alumni Association, Franklin B. Walter, Tyler Mescher, Student Council/ Red Cross, Fort Recovery Education Association, Fort Recovery Banking Center/Park National Bank, Fort Recovery High School Drama Club, Carl and Margaret Althoff, Ronald Shoemaker Memorial and Psi Iota Xi Sorority scholarships. He was also recognized as the most active boy in his class.
Abigail Knapke secured the Cincinnatus, Fort Recovery Knights of Columbus, Pheasants Forever, Parker and Margaret Snyder Nursing, Operation Freedom Support, Medical, Educational and Development (MED) Foundation, Wayne HealthCare Foundation, Fort Recovery Alumni Association, Fort Recovery Education Association, Fort Recovery Ministerial Association and Lamar Shoemaker scholarships.
Megan Knapke, valedictorian, was awarded the RedHawk Excellence, MED Foundation, V.H. Cooper Farms, Joe S. Meiring, Richard and Norvita Hildbold/Fort Recovery Alumni Association, Linus and Juletta Huelskamp and Henry and Agnes LeFevre. She was also recognized as the most active girl in her class.
Alayna Laux received the CIA Gund Family, CIA Grant, CIA Visit, Carson Scholars, Fort Recovery High School Art Club, Fort Recovery High School Vocational Grant and John and Ruth Houts scholarships.
Isaac LeFevre, salutatorian, got the Doctor Diana Meiring-Zitter/Fort Recovery Alumni Association, Fort Recovery Education Association, Virginia Baker-Franke Music, Joe S. Meiring and Psi Iota Xi Sorority scholarships. Jennifer Litmer received the V.H. Cooper Farms scholarship.
