Nominations are open for the 2023 AgriVision award, the highest agricultural honor presented by Indiana.
The award recognizes Indiana’s agricultural leaders who are ensuring Indiana remains a global center for food and agricultural innovation and commercialization. It’s open to any Indiana resident and all sectors of the agriculture industry. Any person or organization may submit a nomination through July 1.
“It is my honor to serve as Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and to work alongside some of the best and brightest leaders in the state,” said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, secretary of agriculture and rural development. “This award is a way to recognize those who are ensuring agriculture continues to be a driving force in our state.”
Youth worker award
It’s not to late to nominate a person for Indiana Youth Institute’s 2023 D. Susan Wisely Youth Worker of the Year Award.
It recognizes one extraordinary youth worker for their positive impact on Indiana’s children and youth. Nominees must live in Indiana, provide direct services to children and youth and have at least five years of service in youth work. Nominations are due by 6 p.m. Friday.
