Steven Miller

Steven L. “Steve” Miller, age 65, of rural Portland passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Normandy, Missouri, on Sept.18, 1957, the son of Patricia Miller. He was married on Sept. 18, 1979, to Tina Imel who survives. Steve was retired from F.C.C. in Portland. He was a 1976 Jay County High School graduate, enjoyed UTV riding, fishing and watching nature.

Surviving are his wife Tina; one son, Steven Miller (wife: Katrina) of Portland; two daughters, Tonya Myers (husband: Ryan) of Portland and Erin Bright (husband: Justin) of Portland; one brother, Jamie Nunn of Portland; two sisters, Kathy Saunders (husband: Paul) of Redkey and Kim Sawire (husband: Curtis) of Arkansas; one aunt, Ann Ryan of Portland; and eight grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services.

Baird-Freeman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
