Nominate artists
There’s still time to nominate artists for the annual Governor’s Arts Awards.

Governor’s Arts Awards winners receive an original piece of artwork created specifically for the program by an Indiana artist and the opportunity to share their story with other arts supporters statewide via a video. Nominations are open through the end of Thursday.
Grassland program
Applications are open for the Grassland Conservation Reserve Program.
The program, offered by the United States Department of Agriculture, allows “producers and landowners to continue grazing and haying practices while conserving grasslands and promoting plant and animal biodiversity as well as healthier soil,”?according to a press release from the USDA. Visit the Portland Farm Service Agency Office or call (260) 726-4888. Signup is open through May 26.
