Garden fair set for next week

Minnetrista’s Garden Fair is coming up.

The annual two-day event is slated for 4 to 8 p.m. May 12 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 13. Plants, landscaping tools and crafts to enhance summer gardening projects will be available for horticulture enthusiasts, according to a press release from the organization. Garden Fair features live music, crafts and activities, a beer and wine garden, food and more.

Day of Prayer

A Pennville church is celebrating the National Day of Prayer today.

Cornerstone Church of Pennville will host a gathering from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Pennville Community Center, led by Pastor Garry Newton.



Mindbender Mansion

Mindbender Mansion is still open for visitors in Muncie.

The touring exhibit — it was produced by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in 2015 — offers puzzles, brainteasers and interactive challenges for testing brain power and problem-solving skills, according to a press release from the organization.

Visitors working their way through the exhibit will meet the character “Mr E,” curator of the Mindbender Society. They’ll also find a combination of tabletop brainteasers for individuals and group challenges.

Along the way, visitors gather clues and passwords to become members of the Mindbender Society and add their photos to the wall of fame.
