Nominate locals to Hall of Fame

Cincinnatus League is looking for nominees to its Jay County Hall of Fame.

The event honors Jay County residents who have provided a lifetime of volunteer service to the community. To be eligible for consideration, nominees must be 65 or older. Nominations are due by May 31, with the induction ceremony set for July 12 at Jay County Fair.

Free tuition

Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne and Warsaw is inviting high school graduates to apply for a full-ride scholarship.

The Mark W. Suedhoff Endowed Scholarship-Chancellor’s Merit Award will be granted to two students seeking associate degrees at Ivy Tech. The award covers tuition, books and fees.

To be eligible, students must write a one-page essay, apply to Ivy Tech before submitting their scholarship application, graduate high school in 2023, have a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at Ivy Tech for a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
