Forge retirees offer thanks
To the editor:
Thank you from Portland Forge retirees.
With their wives and guests, there were more than 50 at the supper.
We would like to thank:
•Richard’s Restaurants and its employees: Art, the cooks and waitresses for a good meal and evening
•Rob Weaver of PG-14 for the announcements
•The Commercial Review for printing the announcement in the paper
•Our former employer, Portland Forge, for paying for the radio announcements
•Blacksmith Union 1620 for paying for the newspaper announcement.
Enjoy your retirement Portland Forgers. Looking forward to this occasion again.
