Cakes for cold kids

Portland Lions Club had their “Hot Cakes for Cold Kids” pancake and sausage breakfast Nov. 4 at the Lions Civic Center. Those who brought in a coat received a free breakfast. They collected more than 50 coats and 12 sets of gloves and hats to be donated to the Trinity Church. The remaining funds will be used to buy additional coats, gloves and hats to donate.
