Probation violation

A Portland man was arrested Wednesday for violating his probation.

Blake A. Jester, 39, 945 E. Sandy Hollow Lane, pleaded guilty in July 2021 to unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced in Jay Circuit Court to 540 days on probation. A petition alleging he violated the conditions of his probation was filed in court Oct. 13.

Jester was being held on a $500 bond in Jay County Jail.
