Harmony Players performing ‘Guide’
Harmony Players will present their production of the musical comedy “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder” this weekend.
Shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Shafer Hall at Horizon Convention Center, 401 S. High St., Muncie.
The cast features Jay County residents Ann Casey and Emma, Tristan and Linda Rodden.
Tickets are $10 and are available at bit.ly/HPAGGtLaM. (They will also be available at the door with payment via cash, check Venmo or PayPal only.)
Exhibit open
The Ball Stores exhibit is on display at Minnetrista’s Heritage Gallery in the Center Building.
The exhibit features photos and items showcasing the departments and merchandise of Ball Stores.
"We are thrilled to unveil the Ball Stores exhibition and offer visitors the opportunity to reconnect with a treasured piece of Muncie's history," said Sebastián Encina, Associate Director of Curation & Exhibition at Minnetrista. "Through a curated collection of objects and artifacts, we aim to celebrate the legacy of Ball Stores and its profound impact on our community."
Free screenings
Adams Memorial Hospital offers free screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast MRI, breast ultrasounds and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies to area women who meet financial criteria.
Funding for the program comes from Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust, a grant funded through profits from the breast cancer license plate. (Those may be purchased online or at any Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch.)
