Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth M. “Liz” Johnson, 91, of Winchester, passed away peacefully at Summers Pointe in Winchester.

She was born on May 18, 1933, in Randolph County, Indiana, to John Henry and Mamie Lora Hauser Green.

Elizabeth was a faithful member of the Mississinewa Christian Church north of Farmland. She loved to read, solve puzzles and work in her garden.

Elizabeth will be missed by her children, Kathy Fetta, Donna G. Jones, Todd Johnson, and Jennifer Engle and her husband, David; grandchildren Elizabeth M. Jones, Kenneth L. Jones Jr., Kendra Engle and Ashley Potts; great-grandchildren Brayden Zoller, Brantley Zoller and Liam West; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edwin Johnson; sisters Edith Byrd and Beulah Steed; and brothers John Green Jr., James Green, Carl Green and Marvin Green.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike Harris at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Mississinewa Christian Church, 7708 W. 700 North in Randolph County. Interment will follow in New Liberty Cemetery near Lynn.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, at the Mississinewa Christian Church.

Memorial contributions are encouraged for the Mississinewa Christian Church, 7708 W. 700 North, Ridgeville, IN 47380.
