Festival of Trees open now
It’s time for another Fort Recovery tradition.
Fort Festival of the Trees, an annual holiday celebration put on by Fort Recovery Friends of the Library, is going on at Fort Recovery Public Library now through Dec. 31 during normal business hours. Visitors to the library may pick from 20 decorated trees and vote on their favorite. Trees were decorated by local businesses, organizations, families and individuals. The tree with the most votes will earn the People’s Choice Award this year.
Holidays at library
There are a few more holiday-themed activities going on this month at Jay County Public Library.
“Sing-O: Christmas Music Edition” is slated for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday in the community room. Players participate in a game of BINGO consisting of song titles instead of numbers and letters. Free pizza and refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
Visitors to the library may build and decorate a gingerbread house at 4, 5 or 6 p.m. Tuesday. All supplies are provided.
To register for either event, call (260) 726-7890 or visit the library.
