Indiana education officials approved new plan Wednesday
Diplomas are stacked on a table waiting to be handed out to graduates during the 2022 Jay County High School commencement ceremony. Indiana education officials on Wednesday approved a plan that would modify the state’s graduation requirements. The plan aims at increasing flexibility and providing various graduation pathways that include internships, apprenticeships, military experience and work-based learning. The final step toward approving the new diploma requirements is having them signed off by the state attorney general. (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)
