Poster contest is now open
Indiana State Police is partnering with the U.S. Department of Justice on the National Missing Children’s Day Poster contest.
The contest has the theme “Bringing Our Missing Children Home.” (The phrase must appear on the poster.) It is open to fifth graders.
Posters should be 8.5 inches by 14 inches and turned in with a completed application. The deadline to submit posters is Friday, Feb. 21.

Free movies
Arts Place is hosting a few free Christmas movie showings this and next week.
Movies are slated to begin in Hall-Moser Theatre at Jay County Campus of Arts Place at 6 p.m. today, 12:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Dec. 23, 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 2 and 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Jan. 3.
The event is free and open to the public.
