Resisting law
A Portland man was arrested Tuesday for resisting law enforcement.
Christopher A. Loden, 41, 699 Katelynn Drive, was preliminarily charged with two Level 6 felonies for resisting police and unlawful possession of a syringe and a Class A misdemeanor for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
He was being held on a $4,500 bond in Jay County Jail.
Probation violation
A Portland man was arrested Monday for violating his probation.
Jason L. Stone, 47, 1103 N. Franklin St., was found guilty in 2018 in Jay Circuit Court of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious, violent felon, a Level 4 felony. A petition alleging he violated the conditions of his probation was filed in court Dec. 11.
Stone was being held without bond in Jay County Jail.
