Drug possession

A Portland man was arrested Monday for various drug charges.

William J. Gallo Jr., 34, 305 W. Race St., Portland, was preliminarily charged with Level 6 felonies for possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of justice and unlawful possession of a syringe, and a Class B misdemeanor for possession of marijuana.

He was being held on a $3,500 bond in Jay County Jail.

Domestic battery

A Portland man was arrested Sunday for domestic battery.

Jorge Jimenez, 34, 1007 N. Ben Hawkins Ave., Portland, was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony.

He was being held on a $3,000 bond in Jay County Jail.
